Their first live album was recorded at a concert in Osaka.
The first live album was released in 1974. It is a three-disc set that records the performance at the Osaka Koseinenkin Hall from July 3rd to 4th, 1973.
This album was produced under the initiative of CBS/Sony, the distributor of Santana's works in Japan. However, it is not a complete recording. The second track on Disc 3, "Mr Udo," is a song dedicated to Seijiro Udo, the president of the inviting agency, Udo Music Agency. The jacket is a large 22-page album, designed by Tadanori Yokoo.
