This work is a re-arrangement and composition of grandiose background music for an orchestra, and it could easily be treated as a classical piece.Following the huge success of the 1977 theatrical release of Space Battleship Yamato, the background music from the first TV series, which was originally recorded in mono, was re-recorded and All songs were composed, arranged and conducted by Yasushi Miyagawa, and performed by Symphonic Orchestra Yamato.
