A magnificent Renaissance soundscape created by synths
A work by composer and synthesizer player Yuki Nakajima, this is a grand concept album that explores the themes of Renaissance art and thought, as well as Nostradamus' "Great Prophecies."
The entire album is permeated with the diverse sounds of multi-tracked synthesizers. The sounds, woven together from the latest digital and analog synthesizers of the time, sometimes sound like a majestic orchestra, and sometimes like delicate chamber music. The meticulous composition, reminiscent of classical music, coexists with the floating feeling characteristic of new age music, constructing a sound image that reflects the album's grand theme.
